Biography
Haifeng Xu is currently a PhD student in the Eco-Complexity Lab at Nankai University. He received his M.Sc. in Aquatic Ecology from Shanghai Ocean University in 2026, where his research focused on freshwater ecosystems and aquatic biodiversity. His current research centers on plant functional traits and biogeography, with a particular interest in understanding the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms shaping biodiversity patterns across spatial scales.
