Ying Sun

Postdoctoral Fellow

Biography

Dr. Sun is a postdoctoral fellow in the Eco-Complexity Lab at Nankai University. She received her Ph.D. in Ecology from Lanzhou University in 2025. Her research focuses on plant diversity responses to climate change and functional traits, aiming to understand how environmental change shapes species distributions and ecological strategies across large spatial scales.

Research Interests

  • 1. Species distribution and biogeography
  • 2. Plant functional traits and ecological strategies
